Finding Balance: Enjoying the “Me” Things

How do you relax?

I’ve always been the type of person who is constantly on the go. Constantly alert. The topic of relaxation always in the back of my mind, until lately.

Before my husband got on workmans comp two months ago from getting his leg crushed, I started working on myself. I started waking up earlier to get my days started. Taking me time and drinking my coffee. Enjoying the quiet outdoors before I get everyone up.

Basically just taking the necessary steps to keep minimal stress and to keep the peace within myself.


I still do all the same things now. I also love to play my games sometimes in the evenings. Roblox with my children. Ark, because I love the game so much, and the Abberation map just dropped yesterday. Enjoying the pool with my kids has become a new favorite of mine though.

Man, do we have a blast splashing around and just being goofy.


Relaxing can be therapeutic and wonderful after a long rough day of activities, chores, work , and just adulting in general.
